Sasha Bezuhanova is an internationally recognized manager, angel investor and philanthropist with a 20-year successful management career in the Republic of Bulgaria and a significant contribution to the social development of Bulgaria.
The long list of her business achievements and initiatives in favor of social prosperity over the years includes positioning Bulgaria as an ICT center of global importance, promoting entrepreneurial culture and affirming the role of women in business in Bulgaria and at the European level.
In 2013, she left her business career and dedicated herself to the cause of positive social change and sustainable development in Bulgaria through innovation, education, active leadership and shared values, founding the innovative development platform MOVE.BG.
They are the initiator of EDIT.BG – an association for the digital development of Bulgaria, The ChangeMakers – a multidisciplinary community of innovators in business, art and ecology and the founder of the Entrepregirl Award – an annual competition for girl entrepreneurs. Sasha is the chairman of the boards of the Bulgarian Center of Women in Technologies and WWF for Central and Eastern Europe (WWF CEE), a member of the investment committee in the European Innovation Council (EIC) and an advisor in the GreenTech Alliance. She is also a mentor and angel investor to a number of technology startups.
She was named Digital Woman of Europe for 2013 and is among the Top 100 innovative leaders of New Europe in the New Europe 100 ranking for 2015.
