Prof. Dr. Georgi Toskov

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Georgi Toskov is a recognized expert and academic in the field of food technologies, functional foods, and sustainable production practices. At the University of Food Technologies – Plovdiv, his research and teaching focus on innovation in food processing, sustainable utilization of agro resources, and the integration of circular models within the food industry. He is the author of numerous scientific publications and a participant in international projects related to food quality and safety. Prof. Toskov plays an active role in knowledge transfer between academia and the business sector. His work directly supports the goals of the European Green Deal, including sustainable food production, food waste reduction, and the development of high-value functional products.
