Mihnea Cătuți is Executive Director of Energy Policy Group (EPG), an independent Romanian think tank focused on energy and climate policy.
Before becoming Executive Director, he served as Head of Research at EPG, where he coordinated the organisation’s research strategy and analytical activities.
His expertise focuses on European climate and energy policy, the energy transition in South-East Europe, hydrogen development, electricity grids, and the investment needs associated with decarbonisation.
Mihnea Cătuți holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Bristol, a Master’s degree in European Public Policy from the University of York and Central European University, and a PhD from the University of York with a dissertation focused on EU energy and climate governance.
