Mgr. Ing. Petr Pavelčík

Petr Pavelčík is a professional specializing in environmental analysis and sustainability support for local governments and non-profit organizations. He currently serves as the Director and Senior Expert at CI2, o.p.s., a position he has held since February 2022. His work actively bridges the gap between theory and the practical implementation of sustainable development and urban climate resilience at the local level. Beyond urban environments, his areas of professional interest extend to biodiversity protection, sustainable forestry, and landscape management.

Throughout his career, he has worked extensively as an environmental expert and project manager for municipalities, private companies, and public benefit organizations. His previous roles include working as a Researcher at the Charles University Environment centre from 2017 to 2022, and serving as the Environmental Protection Project Manager for the City of Uherské Hradiště between 2004 and 2010.

Mr. Pavelčík's academic background includes a Master's degree (Mgr.) in Environmental Protection from Charles University and an Engineering degree (Ing.) in Public Administration and Regional Development from the University of Economics in Prague.
