Ivan Delibasic is the Director of Advocacy at Hydrogen Europe, the leading European industry association representing the hydrogen and fuel cell sector, based in Brussels. In this role he leads the advocacy team at Hydrogen Europe, working alongside policy managers and officers covering a broad spectrum of hydrogen-related issues. He holds a degree from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven) and is based in the Brussels region.
In his advocacy work, Delibasic has been active in encouraging regions — both members and non-members of Hydrogen Europe — to join the organisation's advocacy activities, including leading letters to the European Commission calling for funding mechanisms for hydrogen valleys to be maintained. He is a regular presence at major European energy and hydrogen events, including the European Hydrogen Week, where he has moderated high-level sessions bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, and regional stakeholders.
He has also participated in high-level policy discussions on the future of European hydrogen policy, engaging on topics such as regulatory frameworks, clean and competitive hydrogen, and the role of hydrogen in Europe's broader decarbonisation agenda. His work sits at the intersection of EU policy-making and industry advocacy, helping to shape the legislative and non-legislative environment for hydrogen across Europe.
