Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev is the Dean, Head of the Department "Economics and Management by Industry" and Director of the Master's program "Energy Markets and Services" at the Faculty of Economics of SU "St. Kliment Ohridski". He teaches courses at the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria. Participates in the management of a number of business associations: member of the Board of the National Committee of Bulgaria in the World Energy Council; member of the Board of Directors of Industrial Cluster "Electromobili"; Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Council for Innovation, Digitalization and New Technologies at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. From December 2022, he was elected as an independent member of the Supervisory Board at UniCredit Bulbank AD. Energy restructuring consultant at Ukonomics (2005-2009) and at "Public Services" (from 2010 until now). Publisher and Ch. editor of the business magazines "Utilitis" and "Facilitis"
