Konstantin Stamenov
Chairman of the Management Board of BFIEK
Konstantin Stamenov is a MB Chairman of Bulgarian Federation of Industrial Energy Consumers (BFIEC) since 2009.
He has a master’s degree in “Economics & Informatics” (1993) and is certified in Project Management at Stevens Institute of Technologies, USA. He became MB member of WEC Bulgaria (World Energy Council) in 2012. In 2013 he participated in US Leadership Program. Holds master’s degree in Electricity Management at Sofia Technology University from 2015. Stamenov worked actively for the completion a BGN 500m new energy policy project in Bulgaria concerning 150 plants for green fee levy in compliance with EC Energy and Environmental State Aid Guidelines (‘EEAG’) in 2016.
He has been working in the metallurgical plant “Stomana Industry” SA for more than 19 years, occupying various senior management positions – Project Manager for SAP, EU financed projects, Logistics, Administration, Production Planning, Utilities, etc.
