An international forum on the green transition in Central and Eastern Europe to begin

President Rumen Radev will participate in the opening of the international forum “Green transition in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe”. More than 120 speakers from more than 10 countries are participating in the three-day international forum, and our government will be represented by the ministers of energy, economy, ecology, innovation and growth.

In the conditions of the energy crisis, the topic of the green transition to a low-carbon economy continues to be among the most important topics in Europe and in Bulgaria.

The focus of the discussions will be topics such as energy security, the future of basic energy capacities, the development of green infrastructures, innovation as a competitiveness accelerator, financial investments in the green economy, sustainable development of cities, green mobility, education of the future.

Renewable energy sources, the future of hydrogen, as well as new climate technologies will also be in the focus of the attention of speakers and participants in the coming days.
