Sylvain Collot
Managing Director of Melexis for Eastern Europe
Born in France, before starting at Melexis, Sylvain Collot worked for Philips Caen, in France, as an IC designer. In 1999, he joined Melexis Belgium as product engineer, aiming at chip performance optimization. He moved to Bulgaria in 2005 to manage the team of product engineers in Melexis Bulgaria, before taking over the role of Manufacturing Manager in 2007. He became Site Manager of the company’s Bulgarian entity by early 2013. Currently he is Regional Site Manager East Europe & Strategic Operations Manager.
Mr. Collot is a member of the Board of Automotive Cluster Bulgaria and of the Cluster of Microelectronic (CMIES) , as well as President of the Belgium-Bulgaria-Luxembourg Business Club.
Sylvain Collot holds an Engineering Degree in microelectronics and electronics from Institut supérieur d’électronique et du numérique (France).
