Svetoslav Ivanov

Mr. Ivanov has more than 25 years of experience in the field of natural gas. He has been the CEO of 5 large private gas distribution companies.

Since 2003, he has been the deputy executive director of Overgaz Inc., responsible for the corporate future and marketing strategies.

Since 2014, he has also headed the corporate development of Overgaz Networks. Since 2017, he is the CEO of this company.

Svetoslav Ivanov is the author of dozens of analyzes and articles on the natural gas market in Bulgaria and in Europe, an active participant in the debates about the country’s energy future. As the chief expert, he is among the authors of the “National Program for Accelerated Gasification” project.

Mr. Ivanov holds a master’s degree in two majors – “Automation of Electric Drives” and “Industrial Management” at the Technical University of Sofia. There are a number of specializations, one of which is energy in Germany.
Svetoslav Ivanov is the chairman of the Bulgarian Natural Gas Association (BAPG).
