AI Ethicist and Educational Psychologist

Marisa Zalabak is an AI Ethicist and Educational Psychologist, bringing over a decade of global experience in strategic leadership and AI ethics. She is a contributor to AI standards with IEEE.org and advises on global AI education and emerging governance guides for AI regulation. As the Founder and CEO of Open Channel Culture, her work as a consultant in adaptive leadership, organizational transformation, multigenerational education, and mental health spans several decades. Currently, Marisa also serves with IEEE as co-chair of AI Ethics Education and chair of Global Methodologies for Planet Positive 2030 in collaboration with Stanford University. As a Senior Fellow with The Digital Economist’s Center for Excellence, she shapes applied AI research and initiatives to catalyze positive transformations. Marisa’s collaborations and partnerships extend across sectors including XRSI, MKAI, AllTechIsHuman, UNESCO, UNEP, IAMTHECODE, Women4Solutions, and Million Peacemakers, reflecting her dedication to fostering innovation, responsible use of technology, and leadership for human and planetary flourishing.
