Elenko Bozhkov
Interim Deputy Minister of Energy 2022 – 2023
Mr. Bozhkov is a long-time specialist in the field of energy.
He was Deputy Chairman of the Energy Committee in the 7th Grand National Assembly, member of the Board of Directors of National Electric Company, Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy and Director of Energoproekt. In the period 2003-2006 he was Project Manager for the rehabilitation of the Maritsa East 3 TPP and later became a member of the Supervisory Board of ENEL-Maritsa East 3. In 2013 – 2014 he was a member of the State Energy Regulatory Commission, and in 2022 – 2023 he was an interim Deputy Minister of Energy.
