Dobri Mitrev
Chairman of the Board of BIA
Dobri Mitrev was born on August 19, 1972, in the town of Pernik.
A lawyer by education, Dobri Mitrev has many years of administrative experience. He was the chairman of the Municipal Council of Pernik for two terms.
He has been in the BSK team since 2012. Since 2018, he has been the general secretary, and on December 5, 2018, he was elected a member of the BSK Board.
On September 1, 2021, Dobri Mitrev was elected Chairman of the Board of BIA, replacing Radosvet Radev, who died suddenly.
In 2022, he is the rotating chairman of the Association of Bulgarian employers’ organizations, vice-chairman of the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation and vice-chairman of the Economic and Social Council of the Republic of Belarus and a member of Group 1 “Employers” and of the Macroeconomics Commission , budget and finances in the ISS.
Married, with two children.
