Chavdar Marinov
Deputy Minister of Agriculture (2019-2020)
Chavdar Marinov is the Deputy Minister of Agriculture from 2019 to 2020. He was appointed to the post in the spring of 2019 at the proposal of the branch organizations.
A year later, he was released with the explanation that he was responsible for a delay in the administration of the register of organic producers.
Before taking the post of deputy minister in the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, Marinov headed the association of organizations of fruit and vegetable producers. Before that, he was an employee of the “Agriculture” fund for many years.
In 2021, Marinov participated in the parliamentary elections as coordinator of the “Agriculture, Food, Forestry and Aquaculture” sector in Republicans for Bulgaria.
