Hristo Stankushev

Hristo Stankushev was born in 1982 in Sofia. He graduated from the Italian Lyceum in Gorna Banya in 2001 and from Architecture at UACG in 2007. In 2006 he worked in the architectural office “Cassian” in Calgary, Canada, and in 2007-2008 – in “Аedesstudio” together with architect Plamen Bratkov. In 2011 he founded the architecture and design studio “dontDIY” together with arch. Stefan Minkov and arch. Svetoslav Michev. All of them have won first prize in the 2012 Passive House competition, third prize in the 2012 BNT Studio 5 design competition, a bronze A Design Award in Milan in 2014, first prize for Interior of the Year in 2011 and a furniture design award at the Misker Festival in Belgrade.
