Valentin Mundrov was elected Minister of e-Government by the 51st National Assembly on January 16, 2025.
He is a seasoned professional in the field of information technology with over 20 years of extensive technical experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of complex information systems. His expertise spans strategic planning, team building, and the management of projects and programs.
He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia and a Master’s degree in Electronic Business and e-Governance from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.” He also possesses numerous certifications in the field of information technology.
Valentin Mundrov has served as an IT consultant at the National Health Insurance Fund. From 2013 to 2022, he was Director of the Software Integration Directorate at “Information Services” AD. Over the years, he has also worked as an expert at the Customs Agency and the Ministry of Health. His professional background includes experience in both the public and private sectors.
He held the position of Deputy Minister of e-Government from June 15, 2023, to April 8, 2024, and served as caretaker Minister of e-Government in both interim governments headed by Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev.
