Tsvetelina Kuzmanova is Sustainable Finance Lead at CISL Europe, the University
of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, where she works at the
intersection of EU sustainable finance, public investment and competitiveness. Her
work focuses on how financial regulation and public spending frameworks can better
support Europe’s climate and nature objectives. She is a Member of the EU Platform
on Sustainable Finance and the Insurance Advisory Panel of EFRAG, contributing to
the development of the EU’s sustainable finance architecture.
Previously, Tsvetelina spent nine years working on EU legislation and policy on
sustainable finance and financial innovation across government and civil society, and
has experience in renewable energy and infrastructure projects in Southeast Asia
and Sub-Saharan Africa. She holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the
University of Cambridge and a BA in Political Science and Diplomacy from Yonsei
University.
