Todor Mladenov has served as Executive Director and Member of the Board of Sofia Tech Park JSC since May 2018. He has extensive experience in project management, strategic planning, innovation infrastructure, business development and the implementation of public-private initiatives supporting research, entrepreneurship and technology transfer.
Under his leadership, Sofia Tech Park has strengthened its role as Bulgaria’s leading innovation platform, advancing its R&D infrastructure, high-performance computing capacity and entrepreneurship programmes. Mladenov has focused on positioning the park as a bridge between academia, industry, startups, technology companies and public institutions, supporting the development of a more competitive and knowledge-based economy.
Through his work, Sofia Tech Park has attracted national and international businesses and has expanded its role as a strategic hub for applied research, technological development, knowledge exchange and entrepreneurial growth.
Mladenov holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from Eastern Kentucky University, USA, following his studies at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria. His professional experience has positioned him as an active contributor to Bulgaria’s innovation ecosystem and the technological transformation of Southeast Europe.
