Mag. Svetoslav Mladenov

Svetoslav Emanuilov Mladenov is an experienced executive with over 27 years of professional experience across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. He possesses 23 years of expertise in real estate, energy, pharmaceuticals, and finance sectors, specializing in strategic management, business process digitalization, and global brand development. Currently, he serves as the CEO and Board Member of Smart Solar Technologies, part of Smart Energy Group. Established in April 2023, the company specializes in the design, construction, and maintenance of photovoltaic parks and power plants. The majority shareholder is the Turkish company Smart Gunes Enerjisi Teknolojileri Arastirma Gelistirme Uretim Sanayi ve Ticaret SA. The company operates production facilities in Turkey and China with an annual capacity of 8 GW and plans to build a new solar panel and cell factory in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, with an investment of BGN 240 million and 812 new jobs. Mag. Mladenov is a member of the Supervisory Board of Found Management Financial Instruments in Bulgaria, former Executive Director of the Bulgarian Investment Agency, and has served on the Management Board of Actavis and Huvepharma, as well as on the Board of Directors of EQEST and Prime Property REIT. He is active in various professional networks, including the Vienna Alumni Entrepreneurs Association and the Association for Production, Storage, and Trading of Electricity (APSTE).
