Svetla Nestorova

Svetla Nestorova is a prominent leader in the insurance and pension sectors with over 20 years of experience. In March 2024, she assumed the role of CEO and Chairperson of the Management Board at Pension Assurance Company Doverie, the largest pension company in Bulgaria, managing assets exceeding BGN 5.7 billion and serving over 1.2 million insured individuals.  Prior to this, from 2006, Nestorova served as CEO and Chairperson of the Management Board at BULSTRAD Life Vienna Insurance Group, leading the company until 2024. She began her career in insurance in 2002 and joined BULSTRAD Life in 2004 as Marketing and Sales Director.  Nestorova has been a member of the Audit Committee (2013–2017) and the Supervisory Board (2017–2019) at Pension Assurance Company Doverie. She has held leadership positions in the Association of Bulgarian Insurers, including two terms as Chairperson of the Management Board, and has been a member of the Executive Committee of Insurance Europe.  In 2019, Svetla Nestorova was awarded the “Manager of the Year” accolade for outstanding achievements in management.
