Spas Kerimov

Spas Kerimov is a Bulgarian biotech entrepreneur, co-founder and CEO of Pneuma Inc., a company specializing in the development of sustainable, nature-inspired materials. Pneuma focuses on creating living materials from algae that capture significant amounts of carbon, contributing to the fight against climate change.  Prior to founding Pneuma, Kerimov co-founded the Bulgarian biotech startup Printivo, which develops 3D bioprinters and bio-inks for creating human tissues. The company is known for its innovations in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. Kerimov holds a medical degree and has received numerous awards from international scientific forums. He actively participates in scientific and entrepreneurial communities, sharing his experience through conference engagements and media appearances.
