Savvas Karafyllidis

Savvas Karafyllidis is the Chairman and Founder of the Bulgarian-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BHCCI). He graduated with honors in International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia and specialized in Mediterranean Programs of the European Union. Karafyllidis has founded several successful commercial companies, actively contributing to increasing investments in Bulgaria and is closely familiar with the development of investments in the private commercial sector and industry in the country.  Under his leadership, the first Bulgarian-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bulgaria was established. As Chairman of BHCCI, Karafyllidis actively works to promote economic cooperation between Bulgaria and Greece. In 2025, he presented a program of activities including an economic event in Sofia in January, a business forum in February, and organized participation in the Money Show exhibition in Thessaloniki in March.
