Rob Dobbins

Rob Dobbins has a Masters Degrees in Chemical Engineering from Queens University Belfast and an MBA from Oxford Brookes university in the United Kingdom. He is currently Head of Partnerships & International Assets within the E&P Division at OMV Petrom, Romania. Rob has more than 15 years of experience in the international E&P industry and previously in top international consultancy (Big4), having held leadership roles in operations, projects, finance and business development. Rob has led multidisciplinary offshore and onshore management teams and worked extensively in international joint ventures with responsibility for the interface with regulators, government agencies, local communities and license partners. In his recent roles, Rob has had a consistent focus on HSSE performance, asset integrity and process safety, but also equally being actively engaged in public debates on industry trends such as climate risk, energy transition and low carbon technology.
