Ognyan Atanasov

Ognyan Atanasov has an extensive experience in the field of healthy and safe working conditions in enterprises and ecology. He has participated in the management of strategic enterprises in the metallurgical industry. He joined the CITUB in 2017 as an Occupational Safety and Health expert. Since 2018, he has been elected National Secretary of CITUB, and in 2022, at the regular Congress of CITUB he was elected Vice President of CITUB responsible for OSH, Just Transition and Ecology. Over the years, he has been actively involved in the work of national and European institutions on these topics. Since the launch of the European Green Deal, he has been responsible for the Confederation’s policies in defense of workers' rights in the twin green and digital transition to a low-carbon economy.
