Martin Danovski

Martin Danovski is a distinguished expert in economics, innovation, and EU fund management, with over 15 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. As Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Innovation and Growth, he is responsible for strategic planning and coordination of policies related to research, innovation, and smart specialization.​ Prior to his current role, Danovski served as Chairman of the Management Board of the Fund Manager of Financial Instruments in Bulgaria (Fund of Funds), overseeing investments supporting SMEs, innovation, and energy efficiency. He also held the position of Chairman of the State Agency for Research and Innovation, contributing to the development of national research infrastructure.​ His educational background includes master's degrees in economics, marketing, and strategic planning from the University of National and World Economy, as well as in engineering and technical sciences from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy.
