Marinela Petrova

Marinela Petrova is an Advisor at the Bulgarian National Bank, with extensive expertise in public finance, macroeconomic policy, and sustainable economic development. Prior to joining the BNB, she held senior leadership positions at the Ministry of Finance, including Deputy Minister, where she played a key role in shaping strategic policies related to fiscal stability and euro area integration. Ms. Petrova is a recognized expert on sustainable finance and the role of central banks in driving the transition to a green economy – a cornerstone of the European Green Deal objectives.
