Manuela Naessl is Head of Bulgaria at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). She assumed the position in 2024 after leading the EBRD office in Bosnia and Herzegovina for five years.
She is a finance professional with extensive experience in emerging markets financing, specialising in energy, infrastructure, sustainable finance, policy advisory, and regulatory reform.
In Bulgaria, Manuela Naessl is responsible for the bank’s operations and support for investments, sustainable economic development, and private sector growth.
