Luis Bravo Martins is a senior advisor on XR technologies and Virtual Worlds, working with businesses, research institutions, and public organisations. He currently contributes as a Key Expert at DG CNECT of the European Commission to the development of FP10 priorities beyond 2027.
He also serves as Vice-President of XR Safety Initiative Europe, a Standards Development Organisation focused on safety, privacy, and trust in immersive experiences and virtual worlds.
Luis Bravo Martins is the author of Metaversed – See Beyond the Hype (2023, Wiley & Sons), which ranked twice as #1 in the “Business and Entrepreneurship” category. His latest book, Impacts of Sensetech in Society (2025, IGI Global), explores technological convergence and data governance.
In addition to his publishing work, he is an international speaker and advisor on emerging technologies, XR ecosystems, and digital governance.
