He serves as Chairman of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Federation of Industrial Energy Consumers (BFIEC) and Chairman of the Energy Committee at the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (CEIBG), where he plays a key role in shaping policies related to the energy market, industrial competitiveness, and the green transition.
His professional career is closely linked to the industrial and energy sectors. He holds a degree in Economics and Informatics from the University of National and World Economy and has further specialized in financial journalism, public communications, logistics, and project management at prestigious international institutions. He has accumulated significant managerial experience in industry, including at Stomana Industry, where he has held various senior positions, and currently serves as Authorized Representative and Director of Energy Resources.
Since 2009, Stamenov has been Chairman of the Management Board of BFIEC, an organization that brings together the country’s largest energy-intensive companies and actively works towards the liberalization and integration of the energy market, as well as the alignment of policies with industry needs. In this role, he represents the interests of Bulgarian industry in dialogue with national institutions and European partners, contributing to the development of strategic solutions for sustainable development, decarbonization, and energy security.
As Chairman of the Energy Committee at CEIBG, Stamenov is among the prominent voices of the business community on key economic and energy issues.
