Karina Angelieva is a Bulgarian expert in science, innovation, and international scientific cooperation. She has extensive experience in the development of research policy, innovation ecosystems, and international partnerships in the fields of science and technology.
She previously served as Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Bulgaria, where she worked on policies related to scientific research, technology transfer, digitalisation, and Bulgaria’s integration into European research and innovation programmes.
As Executive Director of the International Science and Technology Center (ISTC), Karina Angelieva works to strengthen international cooperation in science and technology and to support innovation and research initiatives of global importance.
