Kalina is a dedicated analyst specializing in just energy transition policies, urban climate adaptation, and energy efficiency of the built environment across the CEE region. Over the past three years, she has played a key role in developing decarbonization modelling scenarios for Bulgaria’s updated National Energy and Climate Plan (2021–2030) and has contributed to the implementation of long-term strategic frameworks on sustainable energy, climate action, air quality, and green city development for Sofia Municipality. As a Youth Ambassador for GTF 5.0, Kalina is deeply committed to fostering climate-resilient cities through the active engagement of citizens and businesses, advocating for inclusive and sustainable urban transformation.
