Günter Kraft is Chief Government Relations and Communications Officer at Focused
Energy, where he is responsible for communications, marketing, and public affairs.
With his international experience at the intersection of technology, business, and
politics, he strategically positions the company in a globally growing future market.
After studying computer science at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Kraft
began his career at Cisco Systems. He later led Cobalt Networks' European
expansion from Palo Alto (USA) and accompanied the company's successful IPO on
the Nasdaq. He then worked as a business angel, coach, and mentor for start-ups in
the USA and Israel.
Since 2020, he has been increasingly involved in Germany, where he is working with
regional universities to strengthen the start-up ecosystem in the Rhine-Main area. He
initiated the application of the IP4Share process in Germany, which was first used at
Focused Energy to translate laser fusion research results into industrial solutions.
