M. Eng. Georgi Petrov

Eng. Georgi Petrov obtained his qualification as a "Mining Engineer" in the specialty "Mining Engineering" from the University of Mining and Geology "St. Ivan Rilski" in 2000, with a primary specialization in "Open-Pit Mining" and an additional specialization in "Industrial Management." He started working at the Ellatzite Mine Complex in 2001. Over the years, he has held various positions and currently serves as the Deputy Director General. With more than 24 years of experience at Ellatzite-Med, he has acquired and developed his expertise in the planning, execution, and optimization of production processes and related engineering activities in open-pit mining. He has also participated in various projects focused on optimizing equipment usage, planning, designing, and enhancing mining operations. Additionally, he has been involved in implementing systems for managing, monitoring, and controlling mining production, as well as planning and designing mining activities.
