Frank Hajdinjak is a seasoned energy executive with over 25 years of experience in the Romanian energy sector. He came to Romania in 2004 as part of the team responsible for the takeover of Distrigaz Nord, the gas supply and distribution company, and from 2008 was appointed CEO of E.ON Romania. During his long tenure at E.ON, he also served as President of the Employers' Federation of Energy Utility Companies (ACUE) and as a member of the boards of the Concordia Association, the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce, and the Foreign Investors' Council.
Since 2021, Frank took over the position of Vice President at the Romanian Energy Center Association, where he is in charge of research and development projects and the relationship with European institutions. In this role, he has spoken on Romania's role in energy security in South-Eastern Europe, and has been a prominent voice in shaping Romania's energy transition agenda.
Beyond his role at the Romanian Energy Center, Hajdinjak has served as Chief Strategy and Transformational Officer within the Romanian group of companies Adrem, coordinating strategic projects of organizational transformation, and since 2022 as Chief Executive Officer at EPLUS Smart Energy SA. He has also served as an independent member of the Board of Directors of Chimcomplex S.A.
