Frank Neel is Member of the Executive Board of OMV Petrom responsible for the Gas & Power division. He has extensive international experience in the energy sector, with a strong focus on natural gas, power generation, and energy infrastructure development.
He studied energy engineering at the University of Rouen in France and later obtained a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. He also completed an executive programme at London Business School.
His professional career is closely linked to the Engie Group, where he worked for 25 years. He started at Gaz de France as an engineer before moving into various management positions in marketing, sales, and energy business development across France, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Netherlands, Italy, and the United Kingdom.
Since 1 July 2018, he has served as Member of the Executive Board of OMV Petrom. His work focuses on the development of gas and power projects, energy transition, security of supply, and the integration of sustainable energy solutions across the region.
