Eric Sargiacomo

Eric Sargiacomo is a French politician from the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament (S&D). He serves as the Vice-Chair of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development (AGRI) and is a member of the Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI) . He is also a substitute member of the European Parliament's delegations for relations with Albania and Montenegro. Sargiacomo is an active advocate for sustainable agriculture and rural development. He works towards implementing the European Green Deal and ensuring support for farmers and rural communities. His efforts also focus on achieving a better balance between economic development and environmental protection.
