Eng. Martin Georgiev is the Chief Operating Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Electrohold Trade. He is responsible for upgrading and optimizing the company's existing leading portfolio of products and services in Bulgaria, with a focus on implementing innovative technologies in the management of renewable energy producers and energy storage systems.
During the period May 2022 – March 2025, Eng. Georgiev held the position of Executive Director of the National Electric Company (NEC). Under his leadership, key rehabilitation projects were completed for critical assets, including hydraulic unit 2 at the Chaira Pumped Storage Power Plant, and the construction of new pumped-storage capacity was initiated. During this period, NEC achieved excellent financial results.
