Elitsa Petrova-Pavlova, Assoc.Prof., PhD, Director of the Institute of Fish Resources – Varna, Agricultural Academy – Sofia, Bulgaria - an expert with over 20 years of experience in marine ecology, including fish stock management and hydrobiology. Leader of numerous national and international projects focused on sustainable fisheries, marine resource monitoring, and the impact of invasive species. Dr. Petrova-Pavlova is actively involved in key international working groups and committees, making significant contributions to policy formulation and scientific consultations aimed at preserving the Black Sea ecosystem.
