Darko Petrovic

Darko Petrovic is a humanitarian and social entrepreneurship expert with over 8 years of experience at the United Nations World Food Programme. He has worked in The Gambia, Italy, and Myanmar, focusing on vulnerability analysis, field programme coordination, and monitoring and evaluation . In 2022, Darko launched the Outplay Hunger initiative, aiming to harness the potential of the gaming industry to combat hunger. As a Business Development Consultant, he builds partnerships with gaming companies and communities to raise awareness and funds for WFP’s mission . He holds a BA in European Studies and an MSc in Public Policy and Human Development from Maastricht University. During his time there, he founded the United Nations Student Association (UNSA) and the European Model United Nations (EuroMUN), promoting youth engagement in global issues .
