Damir Staničić is a researcher at the Energy Efficiency Centre of the Jožef Stefan Institute in Slovenia. He has extensive experience in the design and implementation of policies, measures, and financial instruments supporting energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. His work focuses on creating practical mechanisms that help mobilise investment, reduce energy consumption, and accelerate the transition to sustainable energy systems. He has contributed to the development of financing models and support schemes that enable public and private stakeholders to implement cost-effective energy projects.
