Boyan Zahariyev graduated in Economics from University of Cambridge in 2016, after which he briefly worked at Bulgarian National Bank as a junior researcher.
Since 2019, he has dedicated himself to entrepreneurial activities, focusing on circular economy technologies through his first venture – Green Gold International.
In 2023, he co-founded ExSeed together with Angel Iliev. The company develops novel technologies for sunflower protein and is currently considered one of the leading startups globally in this field.
The development of ExSeed highlights the opportunities for Bulgaria arising from its abundance of raw materials, viewed through the lens of modern production approaches. In his public appearances, Boyan Zahariyev addresses topics such as Europe’s industrial sovereignty, as well as the continent’s potential to increase added value and competitiveness through new technologies and circular processing models.
