Borislav Malinov

Borislav Malinov is an entrepreneur with significant experience in the recycling industry, environmental protection, e-commerce, tourism and holistic medicine. Bachelor in "Economics and Trade Management" at the University of National and World Economy (www.malinov.eu). In the field of recycling, he is the founder and long-time chairman of the Bulgarian Recycling Association. Borislav Malinova is the founder and chairman of the Supervisory Board of NORD HOLDING AD. The company was founded in 1995 with the main activity of purchasing, processing and recycling secondary raw materials. With today's information, NORD HOLDING AD is a significant factor in the domestic market, as well as in the amount of secondary raw materials for recycling. The entrepreneur's new project is the NEXT BASKET online business creation software platform. The company was established before 2021 and currently sells a SaaS service in 3 continents. The Bulgarian Recycling Association (BAR) was established in 1998 under the name Bulgarian Association of Metal Traders (BATM), which changed in 2004. Today, the Association is the largest organization of nationally represented companies working in the recycling and management sector of waste. Its members are more than 80 small, medium and large companies, which together represent the largest network of independent operators in the field of waste collection and recycling, which covers the entire territory of Bulgaria. BAR is a member of the largest recycling association in the world - the Bureau of International Recycling (BIR), the European Confederation of Recycling Industries (EuRIC), the European Federation for Recovery and Recycling of Ferrous Metals (EFR), the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (KRIB), the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC), the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce (BCC) and the Bulgarian Institute for Standardization (BIS). The Bulgarian Recycling Association is a member of the Working Group "Environment" and locally participates in the development of national positions related to European legislation and policies, such as the EU circular economy legislative package.
