Assoc. Prof. Dr. Svetoslav Tsenov is Executive Director of Astellas for Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, and Greece. He holds degrees in medicine and finance, and in 2019 he earned a PhD in Social Medicine and Healthcare Management. Since 2024, he has served as Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacology.
He is an established business leader with close to two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Over the course of his career, he has held many senior leadership roles in multinational companies at both global and regional levels, with expertise spanning business management, corporate strategy, market access, institutional affairs, marketing and medical functions.
Over the years, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tsenov has been a member of the EFPIA Working Group for Central and Eastern Europe, Chairman of the Board of ARPharM, and Co-Chair of the Healthcare Committee of AmCham Bulgaria.
