Caroline Gans Combe is a leading expert in sustainable artificial intelligence and environmental economic modeling, with over 30 years of experience at the intersection of technology, ethics, and sustainability. As Associate Professor and Director of Structured Research at OMNES Education-INSEEC, she develops AI systems and economic models that prioritize resource efficiency, climate resilience, and ethical innovation. Her pioneering work on AI sobriety assessment frameworks, circular economy logistics, and dynamic environmental modeling has positioned her as a key voice in shaping responsible tech governance. Prof. Gans Combe is a member of IEEE’s Environmental Impacts of AI group, a mentor within the OECD's GPAI initiative, and Secretary General of the Boece Fund for Research and Innovation. With over 44 publications and multiple research awards, she advocates for a holistic approach to AI—one that integrates environmental, social, and economic values.
