Assen Christov

Assen Christov is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Eurohold Bulgaria AD, a leading energy and financial group operating in 12 European countries, mainly in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe (CESEE) and publicly listed on the Bulgarian and Warsaw Stock Exchange. Eurohold is a majority shareholder of Electrohold - a leading energy group in Bulgaria, owner of the largest power distributor, supplier and trader in Bulgaria, which has 3000 employees and serves more than 2 million consumers. It also owns Euroins Insurance Group AD (EIG), a leading independent insurance group in the CESEE region that operates in 10 European countries. Assen Christov has a master’s degree in Physics from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and has also specialized at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, Russia. He also holds a Management Degree from the Open University – London, UK. He is fluent in English and Russian.
