Teodora Peneva

Dr. Teodora Peneva is an economist, chief assistant at the Institute for Economic Research at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences with nearly 20 years of research experience in scientific and corporate research. In 2010, she started working in the energy sector in Bulgaria and worked on projects with business, municipal and household users. She is also an expert at the EU Energy Poverty Observatory, Deputy. Chair of the Commission for Energy Efficiency and Energy Poverty at KSEZS at the Ministry of Justice, and an expert at non-governmental and trade union organizations in the field of energy poverty in our country. Participates in the interdepartmental working group of the official government for the development of the regulations related to the definition and administration of energy poverty in our country.
