Silvia Georgieva
Executive Director, National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria
Silvia Georgieva graduated Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” with a degree in Political Science and European Public Administration, with a profile in Local Government and Governance. She specializes in “Leadership and Local Democracy” at the Central European University in Budapest, as well as project management with European funding in Bulgaria, Belgium and Greece.
She has over 15 years of experience in local self-government – as a municipal councilor, and later as a manager of NAMRB – Active EOOD – the company providing consulting services to municipalities. Since 2018, she has been the Executive Director of the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria.
