Kiril Vatev
Minister of Agriculture and Food
Kiril Vatev graduated from the National Sports Academy with a “Freestyle Wrestling” profile (1978-1982) and was a freestyle wrestling coach for 11 years. He left the sport in 1991. Together with his brother, they started making sandwiches, but it turned out that it was difficult to find quality sausages. In 1993, they registered the company “Tandem-V” and gradually moved from the production of sandwiches to meat delicacies.
He is the chairman of the Association of Meat Processors in Bulgaria.
