Daniel Abu has been the Managing Director of the German Association for Artificial Intelligence since May 1, 2020. His responsibilities include political and press communication as well as project funding support.
Daniel Abu is the founder of AI Hub Europe and an advisor to numerous politicians and companies. He has been press secretary in various ministries of finance and economics, including spokesman for former finance senator and current state secretary in the Federal Ministry of Economics Ulrich Nussbaum. In Kretschmann’s first Baden-Württemberg cabinet, he held the position of deputy government spokesman. His enthusiasm for digitization and innovation follows him from his time as a TV and radio journalist on new technologies.
