Svetlana is an innovative educator with a deep passion for teaching and advancing educational practices. Since 2009, Svetlana has been involved in diverse initiatives aimed at fostering teaching innovations and the digitalization of education. Her expertise in integrating technology into the classroom has empowered educators and students, enabling them to leverage technology for deeper and more meaningful learning experiences. As a strong advocate for collaboration, she has partnered with civic organisations, schools, and diverse stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives that promote educational equity and excellence. Currently, she serves as a Project Manager for Google for Education, where she continues to drive transformative educational projects. Svetlana is well-versed in contemporary educational concepts such as personalised learning, competency-based education, and social-emotional learning. She has participated in numerous professional development programs and holds additional qualifications in Educational Innovation from Columbia University, New York. Academically, Svetlana holds a BA in History and Pedagogy, an MA in Women and Gender History, and is currently pursuing a PhD focused on the crucial topic of wellbeing in schools. Additionally, Svetlana is a certified conflict mediator, equipped with the skills to facilitate constructive dialogue and resolution within educational environments.
